Rooms
John Parker Bedroom (sleeps 2)
Bedding: 1 King Bed
Room Type: Hotel Room
Located on the first floor with floor to ceiling windows, this generously spaced room has a comfortable queen size bed, a unique tiger oak fireplace and leather chair with ottoman for night time reading.
New in 2016 the elegantly designed bathroom features an antique marble-topped vanity, antique Eastlake Victorian mirror, original antique sconces, marble tiled floors and walk-in shower.
The room is named for John K. Parker, the oldest son of Milton and Mollie Parker.
This magnificent room is appointed with a beautiful king size bed and sitting area with the original metal coal-burning fireplace now accented with romantic mini lights. The large en-suite bathroom features a romantic 2-person claw foot soaking tub with a handheld shower and marble tiled floors. Historically this bathroom was the first indoor bathroom in Bryan utilizing rainwater collected in a cistern that still exists in the attic. Not to worry…it has been updated with modern plumbing including hot and cold running water.
This second floor room is named after Kate Parker, daughter of Milton and Mollie Parker.
Guests often call this room the most romantic room of the house. It boasts a king size four poster bed bed with three original stained glass bay windows behind the bed. The room is spacious with an Eastlake style sitting area. The original coal burning fireplace is fitted with soft mini lights to add a special glow to the room. A jetted claw-footed tub with a handheld shower and pedestal sink complete the room with a separate water closet.
This room is named for Beatrice Parker Gordon and Jack Gordon, adopted niece and great nephew of Milton and Mollie Parker. We call it “Trixie’s room”.
The grand room boasts a comfortable queen size iron bed with a rolled arm sofa in the sitting area. The full private bathroom has a combination tub/shower and marble tiled floors. There is an antique marble-topped vanity featuring a vessel sink with wall fixtures. When reserved together with the Mary Bedroom, this makes a spacious suite for family and friends traveling together.
This room is named for Winifred Parker, daughter of Milton and Mollie Parker and was the former master bedroom.
This large room is appointed with a comfortable king size bed and a new bathroom with walk-in shower, pedestal sink and ship lap walls. The floor to ceiling windows are shaded by the second story balcony. When reserved together with the Winnie bedroom, this makes a luxurious suite for family and friends traveling together.
This room is named for Mary Parker, daughter of Milton and Mollie Parker.
